Under 13 League
Tramore 2 Ballinroad 0
It is fair to say that we dominated this game and following an early goal from Mishak we had numerous chances to increase our lead but some poor decision making allowed the visitors to remain in touch until we crafted an excellent goal which was finished off with great aplomb by Aaron Coad.

Club Notes 15th February 2009
Division 1
Ferrybank 2 Tramore 0
The result was not reflective of either the possession or chances that we enjoyed in this crucial away tie to Ferrybank. Despite dominating possession in the first half we couldn't convert the chances we created and we conceded a goal from a free kick midway through the first half.
The second half took a similar shape and defensively we were disappointed with their second goal. We deserved to get something from this game but it wasn't to be.
Premier
Tramore 1 Carrick 1
We picked up a very valuable point on Saturday evening in a very entertaining home tie with Carrick. We fell behind to an early goal but our equaliser came from Leigh Quilty to tie the game before half-time. It is fair to day Carrick were the stronger team in the first half but we showed terrific determination and skill in the second half and were the more convincing in the second period.
We had a number of very good chances to take three points and came closest to scoring in the second half when a Micheal Downey header smashed against the post.

Waterford Crystal 3 Tramore 5
This was a fantastically entertaining tie in which we lead by 4 goals to 0 at one stage.
We started very strongly and were ahead after a minute when a snapshot from Chris Gormley hit the crossbar but Luke Furlong followed up and calmly headed home. Our second came following a superbaly flighted freekick from Niall Kennedy who found Jamie Hunt at the back post. Jamie finished with a powerful header. Our third came courtesy of Mishak who was fouled twice whilst breaking for goal but his sheer strength and determination kept him on his feet and he finished well.
The fourth came again from Jamie Hunt who controlled the ball excellently on his chest and drove home powerfully with his left foot.
We tired a little during the second half and allowed Crystal back into the game but with just 2 minutes left Michak broke up play and finished the game off with a cool finish.
This was a terrific performance from a team who have battled hard in every game and have picked up 4 points from the last 6 available.
Under 15
Villa 1 Tramore 1
By all accounts this was an excellent yet tough and competitive encounter. This is some debate over the Tramore goalscorer so we will let the players sort it out amongst themselves. A terrific team effort but Evan Connolly was the star for Tramore in this tie.
Club Gear
It is great to see so many members proudly wearing our club gear. If you would like to purchase club gear we still have some in stock. Please note we are offering a 10% discount on all sales during February (which is below cost price).

Premier League
Tramore 2 Villa 1
This was a terrific and well worked result on Saturday night. The game itself was a very tight affair and one in which we had to work very hard for everything. Goals courtesy of Michael Downey & Leigh Quilty ensured maximum points.

17th February
Tramore and Dungarvan played out an entertaining 0-0 draw on Saturday night. Despite being reduced to 10 men in the second half we were the only team who looked like scoring and fully deserved the maximum points that eluded us in this game.
Division 1 - Tramore 0 Ferrybank 0. A well deserved point for Ray Cuddihys men who are starting to show some belief in themselves. If the efforts can continue they should pick up some much needed points in this campaign.
Our Under 12 game was a non-started as the referree didnt show although the game was played as a friendly and we battled superbly. As a nuetral you wouldnt think we are currently occupying opposite ends of the table.
Under 15 SFAI Cup - We were narrowly defeated by an extra time goal away to Mount Merrion of Dublin on Sunday.
10th February
Tramore was definitely the club to watch over the weekend if exciting, high scoring games are what interests you.
Our Youth team were extremely unfortuntate not to get something at home to Waterford Crystal on Friday narrowly losing by the odd goal in seven. Gavin Falconer scored a very impressive hat-trick and Kevin Burns was in simply outstanding form on the goal
Our under 13's were held 2-2 at home to Ferrybank with Stephen Coffey scorong a sensational opening goal for Tramore
Our First Division team were held 2-2 away to Abbeyside as were our Under 15 team away to Carrick United.
The Under 16 Schoolgirl team came from 2 goals to nil down at half time to earn a 3-3 draw at home to Benfica on Saturday afternoon

3rd February
A disappointing weekend for the club with our Youth & Premier Teams both losing.
Further disappointment was in store for our under 12 team who after having not played for 2 months finally got their chance on Saturday but the referree failed to show resulting in the game not being played.
Of significant disappointment and cost to the club was the Under 15 SFAI game to be played in Mount Merrion on Sunday. Our lads departed at 8.30 only to arrive at the pitch and proceed with their warm up when the ref called the game off due to an unplayable surface. We will now have to travel to Dublin again for the refixed game.
Our schoolgirls were the only ones smiling with an impressive 7-1 victory over Curracloe on Saturday.

Goals from David Purcell and Conor McGough were enough to give us victory away to Dungarvan
Lotto Draw
Last Tuesday saw the last of our club lotto draws - this draw has been running for as long as many can remember and we would like to thank everyone for their support over the years. Unfortunately due to declining ticket sales and too mucj pressure being put on a small few loyal club members we have had no option but to finish the draw. We hope to launch a new fundraiser in 2008 and look forward to the continued support of the people of Tramore
