International Caps

It is a moment to remember for life, the time you get the chance to pull on the green of Ireland and represent your country. No matter what level you play at, it means you are at the top of your game to be recognised to feature for your national team is a great achievment. This is not something that everybody gets a chance at. At Tramore AFC we are extremely proud of anyone who has represented Ireland and this can be seen at our clubhouse with our wall littered with jersey's of previous capped players for their country. Going back to 1980 when Chris Jones was selected for the Irish U17 squad we have went on to have 25 players at every level including the Senior Mens and Ladies squads capped for Ireland. Some highlights include Jim Goodwin recieving a full cap in a match versus Finland and Ciara O'Brien & Jessica Gleeson playing in the World Cup at U17 level out in the Caribbean. Below is a list of all those players and this list should be a motivation to all our young players that would have aspirations of one day walking out in the Green of Ireland.
