Pitch Maintenance
Tramore AFC aims to provide all its players and visitors with first class surfaces on its Grass and Astroturf playing pitches and training areas on a year round basis.
In order to ensure that this is achieved the Club has the following Maintenance Programme in place
- Mowing of pitches is done twice weekly, subject to weather, with quality Toro equipment
- Divots are repaired immediately after every game
- Training is not permitted on playing pitches
- Pitches are Verti Drained each April & September
- Pitches are Sanded each April
- Slow release Fertiliser is applied in April and September
- Herbicides are sparingly applied where necessary
This programme is carried out by club members under the direction of John Mason, Assistant Course Superintendent, Tramore Golf Club.

Tramore AFC club gear available to download from the site. Also Railtrack is now up and running if any child has yet to attend you can do so any saturday morning.
